WEDNESDAY, JULY 6,200S 7:00 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL CALL TO ORDER Chair Sand called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. DRAFT ROLL CALL Present were Commissioners Clayton Larson, Ken Bezdicek, Elizabeth Modesette, Clayton Zimmerman, Roberta Thompson, David McClung, and Chair David Sand. Absent: None. Also present were Mayor Beverly Aplikowski, Councilmember David Grant, Community Development Director, Scott Clark, City Planner Peter Hellegers, City Engineer Greg Brown, and Recording Secretary Kathleen Altman. A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING HELD ON JUNE 1. 200S. . Commissioner Zimmerman requested the following ehanges: Page 14, second paragraph from the bottom, first sentence should read: "Commissioner Zimmerman stated he believed with the additional five recommendations given tonight by staff and the comments made at this public hearing, this needed to be tabled for further evaluation." Commissioner Thompson requested the following changes: Page 3, delete the ninth paragraph from the top. Page 6, second paragraph from the bottom, last sentence change considerable to considerably. Page 7, last paragraph, 9th sentence, change smaller to smaller. Page 8, third paragraph, second sentence, change work to worked. Page 13, last paragraph, 11 th sentence, change are to area. Commissioner Zimmerman moved, seconded by Commissioner Larson to approve the June 1, 2005 minutes as amended. The motion carried unanimously (7-0). B. INFORMATION ITEM 1. MnDOT/Ramsev County Radio Tower Reconstruction proiect (across Lake Valentine Road from MVHS) Mr. Hellegers stated the radio tower was owned by the State of Minnesota and a . representative [rom MnDOT was in attendanee to discuss this. Lynn Ness, System Engineer MnDOT, summarized their plans to replace the existing tower on 1929 Lake Valentine Road.
