<br />Annual Work Plan – Core Elements <br />The PTRC should schedule time to review each of the following on the annual work plan’s calendar. <br /> <br />Current Year Parks CIP <br />Review the current Capital Improvement Plan to monitor active projects, budgets, and timelines. <br />Provide feedback to ensure projects align with community needs and Commission priorities. <br /> <br />Public Works Maintenance Plan <br />Evaluate the annual maintenance schedule and priorities set by Public Works for parks and <br />trails. Offer input on maintenance effectiveness and recommend improvements where needed. <br /> <br />Recreation Annual Report <br />Assess the yearly report on recreation programs, participation rates, and outcomes. Use this <br />information to advise on program improvements and new opportunities. <br /> <br />Future Year Parks CIP <br />Review proposed capital projects and budgets planned for upcoming years. Provide <br />recommendations to help prioritize projects that best serve the community. <br /> <br />Park System Plan Updates <br />Examine updates or revisions to the overall parks system plan. Ensure the plan reflects changing <br />community needs and supports long-term goals. <br /> <br />Parks Tour <br />Conduct an annual tour of local parks and facilities to observe conditions firsthand.
