<br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RAMSEY COUNTY . <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-06 <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING A TR>\.FFIC <br />STUDY FOR THE HIGHW A Y 96fHIGHWA Y 10 CORRIDOR <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota turned back Trunk Htghway 96 to Ramsey County; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a Task Force Comminee formed by Ramsey County has determined that <br />Highway 96 be upgraded; and <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey COllnty will receive County State Aid Highway (CSAH) tumback <br />funds to assist in the upgrade of Highway 96; and <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County will seek Federal Funding as appropriate to assist in the <br />upgrade of Highway 96; and <br />\VHEREAS, Ramsey COlmty and Minnesota Department of Transportation officials have . <br />presented preliminary plans and options for the upgrade of Highway 96 to <br />the Arden Hills City Council at their November 10, 1997 Council Meeting <br />and December 15, 1997 Council Worksession; and <br />WHEREAS, the ATden Hills City Council at the December 15,1997 Worksession <br />directed staff to obtain a traffic study for the Highway 96/Highway 10 <br />Corridor. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of ATden Hills, <br />Minnesota that the proposed Highway 96 upgrade be referred to BR W for the completion <br />ofa Traffic Study and that BRW is instructed to report to the council with all convenient <br />speed advising the council the results of that study, <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN <br />HILLS THIS 5TH DAY OF JANUARY, 1998. <br />DENNIS PROBST, MAYOR <br />ATTEST: <br /> ~ <br />BRIAN FRITS INGER, CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />
