Approval - Chapter 950, Laws of Minnesota 1971, states that Ramsey <br /> County shall not acquire nor develop any real property without the approval <br /> of the governing body of the municipality in which such property is located. <br /> Ramsey County Board of Commissioners - Resolution # <br /> (Refer to Appendix A, page A-1). <br /> Arden Hills City Council Resolution # <br /> (Refer to Appendix A, page ). <br /> . New Brighton City Council Resolution # <br /> (Refer to Appendix A, page ). <br /> Mounds View City Council Resolution # <br /> (Refer to Appendix A, page ). <br /> Shoreview City Council Resolution # <br /> (Refer to Appendix A, page ). <br /> E. Units Covered - the Rice Creek North Corridor has been designated as a <br /> "Regional Trail Corridor" by the Metropolitan Council. <br /> "Trail corridors are intended to provide for recreational travel along linear <br /> pathways throughout the Metropolitan Area. They are selected to follow <br /> natural or manmade features that traverse areas of scenic appeal and/or <br /> historical, architectural and developmental interest. The regional trails are <br /> selected to pass through, or provide access to, elements in the regional <br /> park and park reserve system. The parks and park reserves perform the <br /> important function of offering places for parking, comfort facilities, safe <br /> water supplies, etc. Trails are also selected for their ability to intersect with <br /> local trail networks and with the regional trails functioning much like regional <br /> highways that interconnect with more local arterials and collector streets." <br /> . <br /> I-I <br />
