Link areas with adequate signage and pedestrian crossings to regional and community <br /> parks. <br /> 8. Address regulatory issues such as community collector road width, setbacks, speed, <br /> noise, storm water management, building codes, zoning and implement a joint <br /> "Commons Code" among the communities to use within the areas identified for all joint <br /> development and redevelopment projects. <br /> 9. Hold joint neighborhood design events in the communities to identify concerns and <br /> desires for each of the three "commons". - <br /> 10. Provide redevelopment designs to soften the differences in scale at the comers and ensure <br /> that there are common plans for infill and new development that encourage more livable <br /> and mixed use neighborhoods. <br /> Budl.!et Impact <br /> The Cities are proposing that the "local match" on this grant would be by the cities providing <br /> staff resources and by Ramsey County implementing road improvements to Lexington Avenue <br /> and County Road D. However, if this were to change the Staff would come back to the City <br /> Council to discuss the City's participation in this project. <br /> Recommendation <br /> The Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution #98-49. . <br /> . <br />
