Management Training <br /> The Department Heads completed the final class in the Supervisory <br /> Management series. I attended the annual weekend Minnesota <br /> City/County Management Association (MCMA) Conference earlier this <br /> month. <br /> . 2. Employee Insurance <br /> Staft' has worked on a wide variety of employee insurance issues. These <br /> included short-term disability; long-term disability; and life, health, and <br /> dental insurance. <br /> 3. Staffim! Levels <br /> Staff has been analyzing and working on internal staffmg considerations. <br /> This includes re.evaluating each and every position within the City. These <br /> efforts also affect the preliminary design for the new City Hall. <br /> Recommendations will be coming forward in April. <br /> f. Public Works/Safety <br /> 1. Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department (LJVFD) Contract <br /> Staff began negotiations with the LJVFD on the new contract for fire <br /> services. As the contract is revised, staff will present it to the City Council <br /> for additional input. <br /> . <br />
