Case 98-05, Special Use Permit amendment - garage, Francis Husnik, 4605 Prior <br /> Avenue <br /> Request. The petitioner is requesting approval of an amendment to their Special Use Permit <br /> (SUP) to allow for the construction of a 900 square feet garage adjacent to the recreation <br /> building at the Arden Manor Mobile Home Park (Exhibit A). <br /> Background. Arden Manor Mobile Home Park is currently operating on a series of SUP's <br /> which have been granted for the mobile home park. The last was issued in August of 1991. <br /> The applicant is requesting this amendment to facilitate the construction of a garage adjacent <br />. to the recreation building so that they may more effectively store their maintenance <br /> equipment for the mobile home park. The location is centrally located highly visible and <br /> therefore relatively secure. <br /> Deadline for Agency Actions. The City of Arden Hills received the complete application <br /> for this request on January 23, 1998. Pursuant to Milll1esota State Statute the City must act <br /> on this request by Tuesday, March 24, 1998 (60 days), unless the City provides the petitioner <br /> with written reasons for an additional 60 day review period. The applicant was advised on <br /> March 13, 1998 that the review period would extend beyond the initial 60 day review period. <br /> The additional review period would extend to Friday, May 22, 1998. The City may with the <br /> petitioners consent extend the review period beyond the Friday, May 22, 1998 date. <br /> Lastly, if the City denies the petitioners request, ..... it must state in the writing the reasons <br /> for the denial at the time that it denies the request." <br /> Recommendation. The Planning Commission recommends approval of the Special Use <br /> Permit amendment, to construct a 900 square foot garage subject to compliance with Exhibit <br /> A of the Staff memorandum dated March 4, 1998, at 4605 Prior Avenue, in Planning Case <br /> 98-05. <br />. <br />
