In your letter, you ask whether the <br /> Department of the Army has taken the initiative in consulting ~ith the local <br /> governments, as required by Minnesota statute. <br />We !'lave been informed by the installation and the Omaha District, U.S. <br /> Army Corps of Engineers. that the Commander's representative at TCMP has . <br /> notified the City of Arden Hil\$ (Mayor and City Administrator). as well as the <br /> City of New Brighton and Ramsey County (Sheriffs Department) concerning <br /> the proposed retrocession of legislative jurisdiction to the State. We will be <br /> happy to cooperate with the Governor's office in the consultation process <br /> required by MINN, STAT.
