Personnel <br /> Staff completed an update to the position description, and began review of the <br /> Senior Accounting Clerk applications. Three individuals were interviewed and <br /> background checks are now being conducted, <br /> The Associate Planner job description was completed, and we have advertised for <br /> the new position. To-date, 65 applications have been sent out. The closing on <br /> receipt of applications will be May 29, 1998. <br /> The Community Development Director and Assistant to the City Administrator <br /> position descriptions have been re-written as part of the staff reorganization <br /> process. <br /> Long-term disability insurance was finally implemented for non-union staff with <br /> benefit information being distributed to all employees. <br /> I attended the annual MCMA Conference that discussed balancing your work and <br /> personal life, and also attended a class at the U of M regarding Public Human <br />.
