ApDointing Gregg Larson <br /> The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #98-45, appointing Gregg S. <br /> Larson to fill the Council vacancy. Mr. Larson has been recommended for <br /> appointment to the Council seat previously held by Councilmember Dale Hicks. <br /> This appointment will be for the remainder of 1998. <br /> c. Res. #98-46. Commending Dale Hicks <br /> The City Council may wish to consider the adoption of Resolution #98-46, <br /> commending Dale Hicks for his years of service to the City of Arden Hills. <br /> d. New City Hall Design <br /> The City Council is asked to discuss the most recent floor and site plans prepared <br /> for the new City Hall. The City Council should provide feedback on these plans <br /> and, if acceptable, direct the submittal of the plans for review by the Arden Hills <br /> Planning Commission at its August 5, 1998 meeting. <br /> e. Old City Hall Environmental Survey <br /> The City Council is asked to authorize the execution of a contract with American <br /> Engineering Testing for a pre-demolition environmental survey at 1450 West . <br /> Highway 96. This action is the first stcp toward the demolition of the Old City <br /> Hall facility. <br /> f. Ordinance #307. Cable Franchise <br /> The City Council is asked to adopt Ordinance #307, granting a franchise <br /> agreement to MediaOne North Central Communications Corp., and direct the City <br /> Administrator to publish a summary of this ordinance in accordance v.ith <br /> Minnesota State Statutes. <br /> g. Ordinance #308. Sale of Stronl! Beer <br /> The City Council is asked to adopt Ordinance No. 308 amending Chapter 3 of the <br /> City of Arden Hills municipal code relating to the sale of strong beer. The <br /> adoption of this amendment would allow the sale of strong beer by on-sale wine <br /> licenses. <br /> h. Res. #98-47. Local Performance Aid <br /> The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #98-47, approving Local <br /> Performance Aid. <br /> . <br />
