Unfinished and New Business <br /> a. Planning Cases <br /> 1. Case #98-18.1200 & 1210 West County Road E <br /> The Planning Commission, at their July 12, 1998 meeting, recommended <br /> approval of Planning Case #98-18, revoking the Special Use Permit for <br /> 1200 and 1210 West County Road E, which was originally granted as part <br /> of Planning Case #89-07. <br /> b. Planning Commissioner Vacancy Interviews <br /> Mayor Probst has been in contact with the following individuals at the direction of <br /> the City Council to discuss the Planning Commission vacancy. The City Council <br /> may wish to make an appointment upon completion of the interviews. . <br /> . 8:15 p.m. Stephen Baker (confirmed) <br /> . 8:45 p,m. Department Report <br /> The City Council will find the department report eneIosed for each of the various City <br /> Departments. Activities related to the Administration and Finance Departments inelude: <br /> a. General Administration <br /> . 1. Elections <br /> We have begun working on the various issues related to the 1998 election <br /> process. We have attended training with the Secretary of State and <br /> Ramsey County, We are now waiting for additional training materials to <br /> be delivered by the State. so the training of City election judges can be <br /> accomplished. Staffhas also worked on advertising for election judges, <br /> schedules of filings, notices and completed maintenance on our election <br /> equipment. As previously indicated, the filing for office in Arden Hills is <br /> August 25 - September 8,1998. <br /> . <br />
