CITY OF ARDEN HILLS COUNTY OF RAMSEY . STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 98-56 A RESOLUTION ORDERING A FEASIBILITY REPORT IN THE MATTER OF THE 1999 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, the City has determined that it should consider improving certain property by reconstructing, rehabilitating or maintaining streets; and WHEREAS, the City Council must first secure a preliminary feasibility report in order to consider making the improvement; and WHEREAS, it is proposed at some point in the future, to improve the following streets; North Snelling Avenue from Arden Place to the north dead end cul-de-sac and, North Hamline Avenue from County Road E to the north dead end; and WHEREAS, in order to improve North Snelling avenue and North Hamline A venue, it appears, the City needs to obtain additional right-of-way and easements; and WHEREAS, it is the intent to assess benefitting properties for all or a portion of the cost of the . improvement, pursuant to MN statutes, Chapter 429 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota that the proposed improvement be referred to BRW, Consulting Engineers, for study, and that they are instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost- effective, and feasible, and as to whether the improvement should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. BE IT FUTHER RESOLVED, that BRW is instructed to outline and identify the additional Right-of-Way and easements which are necessary in order to improve North Hamline Avenue and North Snelling Avenue.
