,
. CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
MEMORANDUM
DATE: August 27, 1998
TO: Brian Fritsinger, City Administrator
FROM: Terrance R. Post, City Accountant @
SUBJECT: Apportionment of Improvement Assessments Resulting from Plat
Division #DL 066474
At the August 31, 1998 regularly scheduled Council meeting, Council will be asked to consider
adopting a resolution that pertains to the apportionment of assessments resulting from a property
division by Ramsey County Records and Revenue. Following is a brief description of the
recommended resolution action.
Resolution #98-55 (Division No. DL 066474)
As part of the reconstruction of Oak A venue in 1996, it was determined that the City was
required to obtain easement square footage from the property owners at 1550 Oak Avenue to
accommodate the location of newly constructed roadbed. In action taken by Council on April 13,
. 1998 by Resolution #98-40, the City was provided with the necessary right-of-way for the
reconstruction, in exchange for vacating excess right-of-way in this area. The impact of property
division #DL 066474 is to create a new parcell.D. (27-30-23-33-0048-9) with 652 less square
feet than the original parcell.D. (27-30-23-33-0027-2).
Apportionment Resolution #98-55 reapportions 100% of the original assessment from the old
PIN to the new PIN.
Enclosures
.
