The City Council is asked to discuss the various issues related to the 1999 budget and <br /> preliminary levy, Staff has revised the budget based upon feedback provided by the City <br /> Council at its August Worksession, The City Council is required to adopt its preliminary <br /> levy and budget by September 15, 1998. <br /> The Council is asked to specifically adopt Resolutions No. 98-53 and 98-54 related to the <br /> levy and Truth in Taxation public hearing dates. The 1999 budget will be presented for <br /> formal action at the September 14, 1998 City Council meeting. <br /> 2. Public Hearing <br /> a. Ord. #309. Lake Jose\lhine <br /> The City Council is asked to adopt Ordinance No. 309 regulating motor boats on <br /> Lake Josephine, This ordinance includes specific language addressing the <br /> regulation of water boats on Lake Josephine. A similar ordinance was adopted by <br /> the City of Roseville on August 10, 1998. <br /> b. Joint Powers A~reement. Lake Josephinc <br /> The City Council is asked to approve the Joint Powers Agreement between the <br /> Cities of Roseville and Arden Hills addressing water surface use on Lake <br /> Josephine, This agreement identifies the terms and conditions for the agreement <br /> . with Roseville, The City of Roseville has adopted and approved this Joint Powers <br /> Agreement. <br />
