. Sanitary Sewer ImDrovements
Proposed sanitary sewer improvements include the construction of a service stub from an
existing manhole to the west side of West Round Lake Road to provide service to the
northwest quadrant of the Indykiewicz property. Existing businesses along West Round
Lake Road are served by a sanitary sewer located in an easement on the west side of Round
Lake. Exhibit 4 illustrates the proposed sanitary sewer improvements.
Storm Drainage Improvements
Proposed stoml drainage improvements include the construction of catch basins and storm
sewer under the permanent roadway section, storm water quality pond constmction and stub
outs for Highway 96, the northwest quadrant of the Indykiewicz property and phase two of
the West Round Lake Road reconstruction. The storm drainage system would collect runoff
from approximately 360 meters (1,200 feet) of West Round Lake Road, 550 meters (1,800
feet) of Highway 96 and the northwest quadrant of the Indykiewicz property (assuming fully
developed conditions).
a storm water quality pond is proposed to be constructed in the southeast quadrant of the
Indykiewicz property between the realigned West Round Lake Road and the commercial
property to the south. The pond will be sized and constructed in accordance with Rice Creek
Watershed Criteria and will meet the requirements of the National Urban Runoff Program
(NURP) for water quality. A portion of the runoff from the commercial property south of the
Indykiewicz parcel may be directed to the pond by regrading an existing ditch which
. currently drains directly to Round Lake. The proposed pond will include an outlet to Round
Lake, The design of the pond outlet will require coordination with the Rice Creek
Watershed, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
Exhibit 5 illustrates the proposed storm drainage improvements.
. 4
----..------- -~-----
