<br /> ------ ----- <br /> . . <br /> WHEREAS, those negotiated affordable and life cycle housing goals are as follows: <br /> Housing Component Goal . <br /> Affordability - Ownership 65 percent <br /> Affordability - Rental 35 percent <br /> Life-Cycle - Type (non-single family detached) 27 to 36 percent <br /> Life-Cycle - Owner/Renter mix 75 to 83/17 to 25 percent <br /> Density - Single family detached 1.8 to 2.3 units/acre <br /> Density - Multifamily 9 to 12 units/acre <br /> WHEREAS, for calendar year 1999, a metropolitan area municipality that participated in the <br /> Local Incentive Account Program during the calendar year 1998, can continue to participate <br /> under Minnesota Statutes 473.254 if: (a) the municipality elects to participate in the Local <br /> Housing Incentives Account Program by November 15, 1998; and (b) the Metropolitan Council <br /> and the municipality have successfully negotiated affordable and life-cycle housing goals for the <br /> municipality; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br /> Minnesota, that the City elects to continue to participate in the Local Housing Incentives . <br /> Program under the Metropolitan Livable Communities Act during the calendar year of 1999. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> THIS 9TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1998. <br /> DENNIS PROBST, MAYOR <br /> , <br /> ATTEST: <br /> BRIAN FRITSINGER, CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> . <br />
