COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-69 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br /> ESTABLISHING THE ARDEN HILLS, NORTH OAKS AND SHOREVIEW <br /> FIRE PROTECTION BOARD <br /> WHEREAS, the Arden Hills City Council has detennined that it is in the best interest of the <br /> City of Arden Hills to participate in a Joint Fire Protection Board with the Cities of North Oaks <br /> and Shoreview, and the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the tenns of the proposed Joint Powers Agreement <br /> and finds that the Agreement adequately addresses the concerns ofthe City of Arden Hills; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br /> Minnesota, that the City Council hereby approves the Joint Powers Agreement with the Cities of <br /> North Oaks and Shoreview, and the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department, and authorizes the <br /> Mayor and City Administrator to execute such Agreement on behalf ofthe City of Arden Hills. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution shall be attached to such <br /> .
