Post, City Accountant M <br /> SUBJECT: Resolution #98-76, Adoption of 1999 Budget <br /> Backeround <br /> Attached, the City Council will find a sununary of the final proposed 1999 General Fund Budget. <br /> Materials include "General Fund Revenues, Expenditures & Operating Transfers," summary <br /> comparison of "All Funds ExpenditureslTransfers Out," and "Estimated Ending Cash Balances" <br /> schedules, Mr, Fritsinger has provided the Capital Improvement plan as a separate item. <br /> Items of note from the Council budget discussion at the December 7,1998 Worksession include <br /> the addition of a category for part-time contracted Building Inspector ($25,000) funded by higher <br /> e budgeted permit revenues. Also, the salary allocations have been modified to fill the <br /> Community DevelQpment Director's vacant position with a Parks and Recreation Director <br /> professional as directed by Council. <br /> Recommendation <br /> Staff recommends that Council consider adopting Resolution #98-76, adopting the 1999 Budget. <br /> Enclosures <br /> e <br /> ,-- <br />
