<br />e <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (EDA) <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />DECEMBER 14, 1998 <br />7:15 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br />DRAFT <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, President Dennis Probst called to order the <br />Economic Development Authority (EDA) meeting at 7:18 p,m, <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />President Dennis Probst, Commissioners Beverly Aplikowski, Susan <br />Keirn, Gregg Larson and Paul Malone. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None, <br /> <br />Also present were Executive Director, Kevin Ringwald; SecretarylTreasurer, Brian <br />Fritsinger; Controller, Terrance Post; and Recording Secretary, Carla Wirth. <br /> <br />ADOPT AGENDA <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Malone moved and Commissioner Aplikowski seconded a motion <br />to adopt the agenda for the December 14, 1998, Special Meeting of the Economic <br />Development Authority, The motion carried unanimously (5-0), <br /> <br />APPROVE MINUTES <br /> <br />A. September 14, 1998 Special Meeting <br /> <br />Commissioner Larson requested a correction to page 2, third paragraph from the bottom, to <br />change the wording "Commissioner Larson noted a curiosity" to "Commission Larson was <br />curious." <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Keim moved and Commissioner Larson seconded a motion to <br />approve the meeting minutes of the September 14, 1998 Special Meeting of the <br />Economic Development Authority as corrected, The motion carried unanimously <br />(5-0), <br /> <br />UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. EDA Resolution #98-03. Adoption of 1999 EDA Budget <br /> <br />Mr. Post explained that the EDA was asked to adopt EDA Resolution #98-03 which would adopt <br />the 1999 EDA budget. He pointed out that TIF District No, 4 expends $1.4 million more than <br />resources indicated which will be funded from bond proceeds remaining from 1998, Mr. Post <br />called attention to Fund 702 which is active in the last four months of 1998 and 1999, He <br />explained that Revolving Business Loan Fund No, 702 revenue transaction activity reflects the <br />
