Commission - Januarv of 1998 <br />Case #98-35 Donald Palme, 1370 Arden Oaks Drive, Minor Subdivision. The <br />applicant, owns the parcel ofJand at 1370 Arden Oaks Drive. The neighbor to <br />the south (1401 County Road E) is owned by Rhoda Behr. Mr. Palme is <br />proposing to move the common property line 15 feet to the south. The <br />applicant has been maintaining this portion of Ms. Behr's property and wishes <br />to secure ownership of that portion of the property. Both homes currently, and <br />with the proposal, meet all the setback and dimensional requirements. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Case #98-36 <br /> <br />City of Arden Hills, Adult Use Ordinance - DISCUSSION ONLY. The City <br />Council on March 9, 1999 adopted Ordinance No. 305 placing a one-year <br />moratorium on the siting of adult use establishments within the City of Arden <br />Hills. The City Council, in Section 3 of that Ordinance, directed Staff to conduct <br />a study and forward the conclusions of that study to the Planning Commission <br />for its consideration. The Staff and the City Attorney (John Miller of Peterson, <br />Fram, and Bergman) are requesting that the Planning Commission review and <br />discuss the draft ordinance for adult uses. <br /> <br />Protective Inspections <br />1. Building Permits (December). The City issued seven commercial/industrial permits in <br />December. The first (#6317) was for the shell ($2,085,898) of the DynaMark building at <br />4295 Lexington Avenue. The second (#6319) was for an interiorremodel ($212,110) at <br />CPI at 4100 Hamline Avenue. The third (#6322) was for an interior office remodel <br />($42,000) at Land 0' Lakes (south) at 1275 Red Fox Road. The fourth (#6332) was for <br />an interior remodel ($78,000) at 4390 Round Lake Road. The fifth (#6333) was for a <br />foundation permit ($200,000) at CPI (Building B addition) at 4100 Hamline Avenue. <br />The sixth (#6336) was for an interior office remodel ($34,700) at 1240 Grey Fox Road. <br />Lastly, the seventh (#6337) was for an interior remodel ($15,000) at CPI at 4100 Hamline <br />Avenue. The total valuation added by these building permits was $2,667,708 with an <br />average valuation of$381,101.14. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />In November, the City issued 17 residential remodeling permits, which ranged in value <br />from $2,000 to $115,000 and had a total value of $225,704 and had an average value of <br />$13,276.71. <br />
