<br />The Staff is preparing a year-end summary for the building permit activity and will <br />forward it separately to the Council when it is completed. <br /> <br />2. Sign Permits. In December the City issued no sign permits. <br /> <br />Economic Development <br />Gateway Business District. The Staff has been primarily focusing on finalizing the <br />acquisition of the Indykiewicz property, which a draft understanding is being considered <br />by the City Council this evening. <br /> <br />Code Enforcement <br />1. 3171/3183 Lexington Avenue. The two homes have been demolished. However, <br />several items have yet to be completed the owners have until January 4,1999, to <br />complete these items or the City will gain access to the escrowed funds and have the <br />work accomplished from those funds. <br /> <br />2. 1875 Lake Lane. The owner of the property has essentially completed the clean up of <br />the interior of the house. However, the structural components of the house still require <br />work so that they do not pose a problem to the public's safety. The transfer of ownership <br />on the property has yet to occur. The owner has until January 4, 1999, to complete all the <br />necessary work or the Staffwill prepare a resolution for the City Council's January 25, <br />1999, meeting to consider abating the nuisance by demolition. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />
