Prior to and during development of the project site, all wastes will be removed and properly <br />disposed. Should any previously undiscovered containers or wastes be uncovered during <br />development of the project site, proper regulatory requirements will be followed. <br />. The spilled tar will be removed and properly disposed. <br />. The cement floor/foundation of the former farmstead will be removed. The location of the <br />drain outlet and potential septic system will be identified and removed if present. <br />Underground tanks and wells, if encountered, will be properly abandoned. <br /> <br />1.5.11 HistoricaVArcbaeological Resources <br /> <br />The proposed project will require no mitigation. <br /> <br />1.5.12 Parks, Recreational Areas and Trails <br /> <br />The City will acquire the 23-acre MnDOT site and will transfer an 18.83 acres acre parcel to Ramsey <br />County in exchange for the 6.21 acres of park property required for Rice Creek Parkway. <br /> <br />The Ramsey County Parks and Recreation Commission reviewed the proposed exchange, <br />recommended approval and found that the exchange is mutually beneficial and is consistent with the <br />"no net loss of park land" policy of Ramsey County. 'Metropolitan Council regional park funds and <br />Federal LA WCON funds were used to acquire the Ramsey County property.
