Consent Calendar <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />Claims and Payroll . <br />The City Council is asked to approve vendor claims in the amount of$306,965.24 <br />and payroll for the period most recently ended. The Council should note payment <br />to the League of Miunesota Cities Insurance Trust in the amount of$63,167 for <br />General Liability Insurance; MCES in the amount of$41,571.69 for March sewer <br />charges; Ramsey County in the amount of $52,304 for January law enforcement; <br />and to the City of Roseville in the amount of$108,390.19 for 4th quarter water <br />purchases. <br /> <br />b. 1998 Treasurers ReDort <br />The City Council is asked to accept the 1998 Treasurers Report as required by the <br />Arden Hills Investment Policy. <br /> <br />c. Probationary Appointment. Pamela Sweeney <br />The City Council is asked to approve the appointment of Ms. Sweeney as a <br />probationary employee with the City of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />2. Unfinished and New Business <br /> <br />a. Resolution #99-10. Gamblinll Permit <br />The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #99-10, approving an exempt <br />gambling permit application and waiving the thirty day waiting period. This <br />permit would allow St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of New Brighton to hold <br />a raffle and tipboard fund raising event at the Holiday Inn on March 19,1999. <br /> <br />b. Finance Committee Presentation <br />Anne Sorenson may attend the meeting to present the [mdings of the Finance <br />Committee in regards to financing of the new maintenance building. <br />
