Variance <br />The Planning Commission recommends denial of Planning Case #98-37. The <br />applicant is seeking approval of a side yard setback variance and a front yard <br />setback variance for a house addition. <br /> <br />e. Planning Case #98-36. Ci(y of Arden Hills. Adult Use Ordinance <br />The Planning Commission recommends approval of Ordinance #311, and <br />publication of an ordinance summary, regarding the siting of adult establishments <br />within any zoning district of the City of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />De,partment Renort <br />The City Council will find the department report enclosed for each of the various City <br />Departments. Continued processing of 1999 Business Licenses and delinquent notices. <br />. Continued efforts on Arden Hills Y2K compliance <br /> <br />. City Facilities Update <br />The City prepared and has advertised for the bidding of the new City Hall project. <br />A pre-bid meeting was held with all of the interested bidders. The bid opening is <br />scheduled for March 11, 1999. The draft lease agreement with the MN Army <br />National Guard has been delivered to their attorney's for review and comment. <br /> <br />. City CouncillDepartment Head Retreat <br />Final preparation were made for the 1999 City CouncillDepartment Head Retreat. <br />The Retreat was held on February 19, 1999. The City Council reviewed its <br />Philosophy Statement, Organizational Structure and discussed future goals. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Newsletter Committee <br />The February, 1999 newsletter was processed and mailed to our residents. The <br />Committee is currently working on the March, 1999 edition. City Hall has <br />received several phone calls regarding the recent article on the improvements <br />planned for Highways 96 and 10. <br /> <br />e <br />
