Items discussed <br />were a letter from the Facilities Director ofDeltec concerning parking in front of their <br />facility. Employees from East Side Beverage park so close to Deltec's driveways that <br />vision is obscured when leaving their facility, creating a safety hazard. The Public Works <br />Director wrote East Side Beverage and asked that they leave a fifteen foot (15') open area <br />on each side of the Deltec driveways. <br /> <br />The Commission also recommended installation of"30 M.P.H." speed limit signs on <br />West Round Lake Road. <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed the proposed residential water meter replacement/upgrade <br />with the Public Works Director, and unanimously supported the Director's <br />recommendation for the upgrade/replacement. Four of the five Commission members in <br />attendance had experienced meter problems and had their meters replaced. <br /> <br />West Round Lake Road. Phase I <br />Forest Lake Contracting has about % of the black dirt moved out of the proposed road <br />right-of-way, and has removed some of the trees in the way. <br /> <br />The Indykiewicz equipment has all been sold at action and is supposed to be moved off- <br />site by Wednesday, April 20, 1999. The auction went well with revenues exceeding most <br />estimates. <br /> <br />Public Works DeDartment <br />1bree Public Works employees took vacations this month, and two employees spent over <br />a week preparing the Indykiewicz equipment for the auction. The crew was able to get <br />all equipment up and running, and lined up for the auction. <br />
