At this meeting, the City Council directed the City Administrator and <br />Architect to meet with the AudioNisual (AN) Consultant, Electronic Interiors, Inc., to <br />discuss the reduction of program and cost in the area of AN. <br /> <br />On April 13, 1999, a meeting was held where this message was communicated to <br />Electronic Interiors. At the meeting, several methods for reducing the estimated project <br />cost were discussed. Electronic Interiors was directed to prepare a detailed summary of <br />the areas where savings could be made, and then to prepare an outline that discusses the <br />impact to the AN program, if such changes were implemented. <br /> <br />A representative of Electronic Interiors will be in attendance at the meeting to review the <br />options available to the City. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />The City Council is asked to provide direction on the proposed changes in the scope of <br />the program for AudioNisual services. <br /> <br />Enclosures <br />
