Subject to the provisions of this Subsection, water service may be shut <br /> <br />off at any stop box connection whenever: <br /> <br />A. The owner or occupant of the premises served, or any other person working on <br /> <br />any pipes or equipment thereon connected with the water system, has violated or <br /> <br />threatens to violate any of the provisions of this Section. <br /> <br />B. Any charge for water, service meter~ or any other fInancial obligations imposed <br /> <br />under this Section for the premises served by the connection are unpaid for a period <br /> <br />of two (2) consecutive calendar-year quarters. <br /> <br />C. Fraud or misrepresentation by the owner or occupant of the premises served in <br /> <br />connection with the application for service. <br /> <br />Subd. 2 Notice. Water shall not be shut off under Subdivision 1 above until notice and an <br /> <br /> <br />opportunity for a hearing shall have fIrst been given to the occupant (the "customer") of the <br /> <br /> <br />premises involved. The notice shall be personally served in the same manner as summonses <br /> <br /> <br />in civil actions and shall state that if payment, proof of paymenfi or proof of no violation <br /> <br /> <br />of Subdivision 1 above have not been made before a date specifIed in the notice, but not less <br /> <br /> <br />than thirty (30) days after the date on which the notice has been given, the water supply to <br /> <br />10 - 3 <br />
