<br />City of Arden Hills <br /> <br />Chapter 10 Utilities <br /> <br />any water supply on or off at the stop box without permission from the commissioner. <br /> <br />Subd. 7 Location of Stop Boxes. ,Curb stop boxes shall be installed at a point on the <br /> <br />property line most suitable to the property and shall be left in an accurate vertical position <br /> <br />when back-filling is completed. Curb stop boxes will be installed at an approximate depth <br /> <br />of seven (7) feet below the grade established by the City engineer. <br /> <br />Subd. 8 Supervision by Plumber. All piping connections from the curb box to the house <br /> <br />supply piping shall be made under the supervision of a licensed plumber. <br /> <br />Subd. 9 Connections Within City to Systems Outside City. The Council recognizes that <br /> <br /> <br />in certain border areas of the City water service for property in the City may be more <br /> <br /> <br />economically and conveniently obtained from water systems outside of the City. The <br /> <br />Council also recognizes that connection charges may be imposed by other municipalities for <br /> <br /> <br />the service to property in the City, which connection charges are usually required to be paid <br /> <br /> <br />in a lump sum at the time of connection, thus imposing a hardship upon the property owner <br /> <br /> <br />in the City. Since all property in the City bears a greater tax: burden because of the <br /> <br />establishment of the City's municipal water system, the Council considers it equitable to aid <br /> <br /> <br />property owners thus required to obtain water service from other systems. <br /> <br />A.
