The refund of the deposit, plus any required <br /> <br /> <br />interest, less any deductions, shall be made by the City Administrator to the <br /> <br /> <br />customer within forty-five (45) days after discontinuance of municipal water service <br /> <br />to the property, disconnection of the service pipe at the stop box, and removal of the <br /> <br />meter. <br /> <br />C. At the time the security deposit is made, the City Administrator shall provide the <br /> <br /> <br />customer with a written receipt which shall also specify that any charges due and <br /> <br /> <br />unpaid against the property pursuant to the provisions of this Section at the time of <br /> <br />discontinuance of municipal water service to the property may be deducted from the <br /> <br />deposit prior to its return to the customer. <br /> <br />D. A meter on a service line larger than two (2) inches is to be furnished and <br /> <br />installed at the expense of the property owner, and accordingly no security deposit <br /> <br />shall be required. <br /> <br />Subd. 3 Maintenance, Replacement of Meters. The City shall maintain and repair all <br /> <br />meters when rendered unserviceable through ordinary wear and tear and shall replace them, <br /> <br />if necessary.
