Each new subdivision becomes a permanent unit in the <br /> <br />basic physical structure of the future community, a unit to which the future community will of <br /> <br />necessity be forced to adhere. Piecemeal planning of such subdivisions without correlation to the <br /> <br />City plan, will bring a disastrous disconnected patchwork of plats and poor circulation of traffic. <br /> <br />In order that new subdivisions will contribute toward an attractive, orderly, stable and wholesome <br /> <br />community environment, adequate municipal services, and safe streets, all subdivisions ilereaftef <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />latted within the in rated limits of the Ci fm1h'wiir':fue::ad"ijon6tffii~C>;~shaIl in all <br />p corpo ty .u.uu..ug_..u.uu.tW.u.uuuuu'u._-_..~' , <br /> <br />respects, fully comply with the regulations ilerej!lllftef-set forth in this Chapter. In their <br /> <br />interpretation and applicaticf$.J the provisions of this Chapter shall be the minimum requirements <br /> <br />adopted for the protection of the public health, safety and general welfare. <br /> <br />1200.02 Scope. Except in the case of a resubdivision, this Chapter shall not apply to any lot or <br /> <br />lots forming a part of subdivision plats recorded in the office of the register of deeds or registrar <br /> <br />of titles prior to March 27, 1967, nor is it intended by this Chapter to impair or interfere with <br /> <br />existing provisions of other laws or provisions of this Code except those specifically repealed by, <br /> <br />or in conflict with, this Chapter, or with private restrictions placed upon property by deed, <br /> <br />covenant or other private agreement, or with restrictive covenants running with the land to which <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />*State law reference-5ubdivision regulations, M.S.A. ~ 462.358. <br /> <br />12 - 1 <br />
