<br />City of Arden Hills <br /> <br />Chapter 12 Subdivisions <br /> <br />The arrangement of streets in new subdivisions shall make provision for the appropriate <br /> <br />continuation of the existing streets in adjoining areas. Where adjoining areas are not subdivided, <br /> <br />the arrangement of streets in new subdivisions shall make provision for the proper projection of <br /> <br />the streets. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1220.03 Streets. <br /> <br />Subel. 1 Widths. All street widths shall conform to the following minimum dimensions: <br /> <br />Major Arterial . . . . . .. 100 <br /> <br /> <br />Minor Arterial ..... ... 80 <br /> <br /> <br />Collector ........... 70 <br /> <br /> <br />Local ...... . .. ... 60 <br /> <br /> <br />- Cul-de-sac .......... 60 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Subd. 2 Street Deflections. When connecting street lines deflect from each other at any <br /> <br />one point by more than ten (10) degrees, they shall be connected by a curve with a radius <br /> <br />adequate to insure a sight distance of not less than three hundred (300) feet for local and <br /> <br />collector streets, and of such greater radii as the City Council shall determine for special <br /> <br />cases. <br /> <br />Subd. 3 Reverse Curves. Tangents of at least fifty (50) feet in length shall be introduced <br />between reverse curves on collector streets. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />12 - 20 <br />
