<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1\1 T~l)>~0J( <br /> <br />1\ '( <br />5 <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN Hll..LS <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />July 27,1999 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Brian Fritsinger, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />Kevin Ringwald, Assistant to the City Administrator <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Job Clean Up <br /> <br />The purpose of this memorandum is to outline the work that I believe can be completed within my <br />remaining time with the City and outline other items that require attention after my departure. <br /> <br />As we have previously discussed, my last full workday will be on Friday, August 6, 1999. <br />However, due to how the pay periods are scheduled my last official day with the City will be on <br />Friday, August 13, 1999. I will utilize my floating holiday (8 hours) and vacation time (32 hours) <br />for the week of August 2nd. I will utilize compensatory time (6-26 City Council and 8-4 Planning <br />Commission) for the four hours that I had scheduled for morning of Friday, July 30, 1999. <br /> <br />Last Two Weeks <br />1. Indykiewicz. I have been in weekly contact with our consultants (Mike Whittington- <br />Pro Source Technologies) regarding the status of the review of the remediation on the <br />Indykiewicz site. The State appears to be close to sending the "Clean Letter" to us on the <br />site. After that letter is sent, then a final offer can be sent to the Indykiewicz's on the dirt <br />((dirt quantity x viI1ue) - (remediation costs + tax settlement)). After the letter is sent, <br />then City Attorney Filla can take over the process. <br /> <br />2. Reviews. I will conduct Nancy Randall's (Associate Planner) one year review. I will iI1so <br />prepare and conduct mid-year evilluations for Dave Scherbel (Building Official) and Susan <br />Holmes (Departmentil1 Secretary). <br /> <br />3. Neighbomood Business. I will prepare the draft ordinance of the Neighborhood <br />Business District for consideration by the Planning Commission on August 4, 1999. <br />Assuming no major changes are required, the final drafting can be accomplished by City <br />Attorney Filla. If there are major changes, then see the recommendation sections of this <br />memorandum. <br /> <br />4. Large Maps City Council chamber. I will work with the City ofRoseville to produce <br />severil1large sciI1e maps for the City Council chambers. The maps are zoning, existing <br />land use, future land use, and parks. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Chesapeake Companies Update. I coordinate with Chesapeake Companies to determine <br />their level of interest in the GBD, so that the City Council could met with them at their <br />August 16th worksession. <br /> <br />6. Comprehensive Plan Update. I will contact the City's new sector representative from <br />
