BR W has built a national
reputation and a national practice in urban planning and design,
transportation planning and civil engineering. We now have 600
employees in 13 offices led by those in Minneapolis, Denver and
Phoenix. We are sought by cities and land developers for the most
challenging projects - those involving special creativity, market
understanding and/or consensus building.

We have completed designs and seen our work built in suburbs, central
cities and new communities all across the United States. BR W has
worked with some of America's best land developers on cutting-edge
community designs and teamed with some of to day's most progressive
urban thinkers. We have prepared development plans, design guidelines,
zoning regulations, and neighborhood or community master plans that
embody the principles of New Urbanism, mainstream design, and our
own hybrid designs tailored for particular projects. We have formulated
design guidelines and zoning ordinances for mixed- or multiple-use
planned unit developments, transit-related projects, commercial sites and
major Midwestern residential subdivisions.

Local example of our high quality work include the Edinborough
residential-office-retail-park project, the Centennial Lakes office,
retail-park development, Villages on the Ponds (a Main Street-style retail
and residential mixed-use project in Chanhassen), Parkers Lake, an
innovative residential planned-unit development in Plymouth, the Elm
Creek planned neighborhoods in Champlin, the 50th and France area of

3

City ~f Anlen Hills
PMnning Services for tile Civic Center Zoning District
