Future developments <br />will add 1,000 housing units and <br />1,200,OOO-square-feet of office <br />space, The focal feature of Centen- <br />nial Lakes is a lO-acre pond sur- <br />rounded by a 16-acre public park, <br /> <br />The Centennial Lakes project <br />responds to and resolves a number <br />of issues and goals established by <br />the developers and tlie City: <br /> <br />. [t represents a world-class <br />development that organizes <br />various land uses around a onc- <br />of-a-kind public open space, <br /> <br />It creates a vital, around-the- <br />clock environment in which <br />people can live, work, shop and <br />pursue their recreational needs. <br /> <br />It includes a transitway, which <br />will link all the uses in south- <br />east Edina, <br /> <br />.
