For two <br />decades the firm concentrated on civil engineering and land surveying, slowly expanding its <br />service area to include all of central Minnesota. <br /> <br />In 1988 MFRA expanded ownership, bringing on new partners and disciplines. MFRA now <br />provides planning, engineering, surveying and enviromnental services to federal, state, county <br />and local govemment agencies an a large variety of private clients. The work mix gives our <br />professionals the opportunity to concentrate or specialize in individual areas of interest and gain <br />experience in all facets of their chosen discipline. <br /> <br />Size of Firm and DisciDlines <br /> <br />MFRA has one central office and is a mid-size consulting firm with 60 full time employees and <br />8 part-time or seasonal employees. Our part-time employees include individuals who have <br />retired, but still wish to work a reduced number of hours, and professionals who have requested <br />a reduced work schedule 10 meet family needs.
