Miscellaneous Items <br />Department Heads may update the City Council on items of note in their areas and may <br />seek Council direction on some issues, <br /> <br />2. Discussion Itcms <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />North Suburban Cable Commission (NSCC) Update <br />Arden Hills Commission representative, Dave Sand, will update the Council on <br />the status of MediaOne franchise compliance issues, disposition of tines being <br />assessed, and discuss the 2000 NSCC proposed budget. <br /> <br />b. Old Hil!:hwav 10 Watermain Extension Petitiou <br />Council will have an opportunity to discuss more fully the issues surrounding this <br />requested water utility capital project. Council is asked to direct staff on how to <br />respond to the petitioners, <br /> <br />c. Pavement Manal!:ement Plan (PMPV2000 Proiect Scopc <br />City Engineer Greg Brown made an initial presentation on several modifications <br />to the PMP at the August 16, 1999 Council Worksession. At that time, staff and <br />Mr. Brown were directed to make recommendations for candidate projects for <br />proposed 2000 street improvement projects and link this action into the proposed <br />five-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Mr. Brown is recommending that the <br />Ingerson neighborhood be the project scope area in 2000 and that Council <br />consider using budgeted 1999 funds on this project rather than Round Lake Road, <br />Phase II. <br /> <br />d. Comprehensive Plan Update - Status Report <br />Staff is planning to meet with representatives of the Metropolitan Council on <br />Thursday, September 16, 1999 to discuss the status of the City's Comprehensive <br />Plan update submittal to the agency, The City was earlier advised of some <br />deficiencies noted by the agency review team, <br />
