Aooroval of Minutes <br />The City Council is asked to approve the Minutes of the October 12, 1999 regular City <br />Council meeting and the October 18, 1999 Council Worksession. <br /> <br />2. Consent Calendar <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />Claims and Pavroll <br />The City Council is asked to approve vendor claims in the amount of <br />$264,541.07, and payroll for the period ended October 8, 1999. The Council <br />should note vendor payments in the amount of $30,698.44 to Forest Lake <br />Contracting for Pay Estimate #6; $94,405.68 to Nadeau Utility, Inc. for Pay <br />Estimate #1; $48,443.29 to MCES for November sanitary sewer processing fees; <br />and $53,092.52 to Ramsey County for November police protection services and <br />September fuel purchases. <br /> <br />b. Res. #99-39, Adootinl!: and Confirminl!: Soecial Assessments for Delinquent <br />Utilities <br />The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #99-34 entitled, "Resolution <br />Adopting and Confirming Annual Special Assessments for Delinquent Utilities." <br />This requested action is consistent with previous years. The majority of these <br />utility accounts being certified have also been certified in previous years. The <br />pending recodification effort would allow the City to be much more aggressive in <br />turning water off at delinquent accounts. <br /> <br />c. Aoproval of Al!reement and Probationary Aooointment, Joseph P. Lvnch, <br />City Administrator <br />The City Council is asked to confirm the probationary appointment of Joseph P. <br />Lynch to the position of City Administrator effective November 10, 1999 and to <br />authorize the Mayor to execute an employment agreement with Mr. Lynch. <br /> <br />d. Aporoval of Year 2000 City CouncillPlanninl!: Commission Meetinl!: Dates <br />The City Council is asked to approve the Year 2000 City Council and Planning <br />Commission meeting date calendar. <br />
