Post, Interim City Administrator @ <br /> <br />Probationary Appointmcnt <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />Backl!:round <br />After completing the appropriate background, criminal and reference checks, Council <br />offered the position of City Administrator to Mr. Joseph P. Lynch. Mr. Lynch has <br />accepted the position, and is scheduled to start full-time employment with the City <br />effective November 10, 1999. Section 19-5 of Arden Hills Municipal Code states that the <br />City Council shall make all appointments to municipal service. As a result, the City <br />Council is asked to make the formal probationary appointment ofMr. Lynch beginning <br />November 10, 1999. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends the City Council approve the six (6) month probationary appointment <br />of Joseph P. Lynch as City Administrator for the City of Arden Hills effective November <br />10, 1999 and authorize the Mayor to execute an employment agreement with Mr. Lynch. <br /> <br />. <br />
