<br />PROJECT COST SUMMARY
<br />Preliminary construction cost estimates have been prepared for the proposed project. Project
<br />costs shown below include a 10% contingency cost and 26% for administrative costs.
<br />Administrative costs include engineering, planning, legal, fiscal, and city staff expenses. For
<br />comparison purposes, three "packages" of improvements are presented for Council review. The
<br />following is a summary of the estimated project costs for each package:

<br />Package A - Full Neighborhood Reconstruction, No Pond Construction
<br />
<br />This package includes the reconstruction of all of the streets within the project area to the widths
<br />as described in the Proposed Improvements section and associated watermain improvements. No
<br />ponding or water quality improvements are included in this package.

<br />Hamline A venue north of Ingerson would be vacated or would not be reconstructed and that
<br />Hamline A venue south of Ingerson would not be reconstructed at this time and would be
<br />scheduled for reconstruction as State Aid funds are available (earliest construction 2002). As
<br />assumed in Package A, no ponding improvements would be included with this package.
