<br />.1 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-40 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT <br />IN THE MATTER OF THE 2000 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted October 12, 1999, a Preliminary <br />Feasibility Report has been prepared by BRW, Consulting Engineers, with reference to <br />improvements of various streets within the City of Arden Hills, and this report was received by <br />the City Council on November 29, 1999; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the attached report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, informational meetings and public hearings will be scheduled to gather public <br />input regarding the improvement at a later date. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota: <br /> <br />I. The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the <br />report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the <br />improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, at an estimated <br />maximum cost ofthe improvement of$2,250,000. Final costs to be determined <br />based upon the scope of work and alternates that are selected by the City Council <br />following input from the public at informational meetings and public hearings. <br /> <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 10th day of <br />January, 2000, in the Council Chambers of the Arden Hills City Hall at 7:00 p.m., <br />and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and <br />improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BV THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />THIS 29th DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1999. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />DENNIS PROBST, MAYOR <br /> <br />JOSEPH P.
