Role of Committee/Commission <br />The City Council will appoint the Chairperson each year. The task force should elect a Viee- <br />Chairperson and Secretary. It is the responsibility ofthe chairperson to work with staff each <br />month to prepare the agenda for upcoming meetings. The task force would set its agendas <br />based on the goals of the City Council. <br /> <br />Preparation of task force minutes is primarily the responsibility of the task force members, <br />but both city staff and the Council Liaison should be prepared to take minutes if no one on <br />the task force is available to do so. The minutes can be concise, and need only include the <br />actual action or recommendation of each issue being discussed. <br /> <br />. Nnmber of Unexcused Absences <br />Thc City will not establish any specific nwnber of unexcused absences from task force <br />mectings. The City will, as part of the appointment process, communicate to members how <br />important it is to attend all meetings. <br /> <br />. Minutes <br />Once the minutes are completed, they should be submitted to City Hall at least one (I) week <br />prior to the next meeting to be formatted and processed. <br />
