<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />December 9, 1999 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council <br />Joe Lynch, City Administrator ~ <br /> <br />Appointment to Fill Council Vacancy <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Backl!:round <br />The City Council, at its October 12,1999 meeting, accepted the resignation of Council member <br />Paul Malone effective November 30,1999. <br /> <br />The City advertised this vacancy and accepted applications through Monday, November 22, <br />1999. The City received three (3) applications from the following individuals: <br /> <br />. Michael Coopet, 1636 Chatham Avenue <br />. David Grant, 1679 Chatham Avenue <br />. Patrick Krenn, 1230 Wyncrest Court <br /> <br />The City Council received and discussed these three applications, as well as interviewed each <br />individual at a December 7, 1999 Special Council meeting. Following discussion after the <br />interviews, it was the consensus of the City Council to appoint David Grant to fill the Council <br />vacancy. <br /> <br />Reauested Action <br />The City Council should consider the adoption of Resolution #99-49, appointing Mr. Grant to fill <br />the Council vacancy. <br /> <br />Enclosure: Res.
