<br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-49 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING DAVID GRANT TO FILL COUNCIL VACANCY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Arden Hills City Council due to the resignation of <br />Councilmember Paul L. Malone; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received letters of application of qualified persons interested in <br />serving in this capacity; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the qualifications of the applicants at its December 7, <br />1999 Special City Council meeting; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to fill the vacancy by appointment of an Arden Hills <br />resident; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota: <br /> <br />That the Council hereby appoints David Grant, 1679 Chatham Avenue, to serve as <br />Councilmember of the City of Arden Hills for the remainder of the term of <br />Councilmember Malone, which expires on December 31, 2000. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />THIS 13th DAY OF DECEMBER, 1999. <br /> <br />DENNIS PROBST, MAYOR <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />JOSEPH P.
