....

.

Noble Road. We have had cars parked in front of our house with people we do not know
just sitting in them - kind of unnerving. For all we know, they're "casing" our house. We
have also heard directly from the owner of alcohol being served to minors inside the
residence.

The owner has converted the garage to living space - one window has been boarded up,
the garage door has been sealed shut, and some type of heating unit added, which vents
out the side. (Has this been inspected? It seems kind of suspect to us.) The owner also
seems to be claiming the dwelling is a duplex, yet it has a single address and single front
door access (it is a split entry). Prior to its sale, it was a one family home, which did have
a finished basement that included a kitchen in the basement. The owner has also been
negligent in upkeep of the lawn and landscaping. The lawn has been cut only four times
so far this year (approximately once a month, while we have had to mow ours once a
week to keep up) and several shrubs have become overgrown and laced with weeds. We
have worked hard and take a lot of pride in how our house and yard look - unfortunately,
not everyone else feels the same civic pride. This hurts the entire neighborhood

This large number of residents also generates a great deal of garbage. The garbage can is
overflowing nearly every week, creating a health concern. When they have excess
garbage, they just pile it up on the ground around the garbage can (the same size garbage
can we have for the four of us).

. This has been a very nice, quiet, family-oriented neighborhood With a few exceptions,
the people living there are not a problem; it's the excessive number of people and
vehicles we oppose. We also have concerns regarding the impact this rental property may
have on our property value. Our understanding of the proposed changes would help this
and as they are not out of line with other cities' ordinances, we strongly encourage each
of you to vote in favor of the changes.

Thank you for your serious consideration of these issues.

Sincerely,

D~~ ~~

Bob & Shannon Johnson
1902 Noble Road
651-633-8464

.
