Based upon the information that he has been able to determine on the reports, Mr. <br />Lynch stated that it appeared the City of Arden Hills should be compliance with the Pay Equity <br />Act. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski moved and Councijmember Grant seconded a motion <br />to receive the Pay Equity Implementation Report, Compliance Report, Predicted <br />Pay Report, and Predicted Pay Graph, and for the City Council to reiterate their <br />position to be in compliance with the Pay Equity Act for the State of Minnesota. <br />The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski stated that she attended the Ramsey County Legislative Local <br />Government meeting. She stated that the Council was outnumbered by the School District and <br />that few Legislators attended the meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski stated that the next City Events Committee meeting will be held <br />Wednesday, February 16,2000. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem stated that she attended the Operations and Finance Committee meeting <br />last week. The Committee is looking into reviewing the City utility rates and was interested in <br />. reviewing the City assessment policy. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem stated that she attended the Human Rights League meeting in Roseville last <br />evening and the Northwest Youth and Family Services will be holding a youth banquet. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst reported on the first meeting of the year for the 135-W Corridor Coalition. He <br />stated that Chair Mondale was not in attendance. At this meeting the Coalition acknowledged <br />the grant money. He stated that Anoka County has indicated a strong interest in becoming a <br />voting member of the Coalition. There was also the possibility of Saint Anthony joining the <br />Coalition which would bring in Hennepin County as well. There had been some discussion at <br />the meeting regarding what the role of the Counties would be. The next 135- W Corridor <br />Coalition meeting will be held in March 2000. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski moved and Councilmember Rem seconded a motion <br />to adjourn the meeting at 11 :43 p.m. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />Dennis Probst <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Joseph P.
