<br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - JANUARY 31, 2000 <br /> <br />".",.j,;,n~ <br />L".J L\;' il-\. ~- I <br /> <br />30 <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson moved and Councilmember Aplikowski seconded a <br />motion to approve Planning Case #00-06, Minor Subdivision and Variance for <br />Parcel A, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />1. Rice Creek Watershed District approval. <br />2. Parcel C being deeded directly to the property owner to the south. <br />3. The subdivision be recorded in the form of a Registered Land <br />Survey. <br />4. No building permits be issued for Parcel C until connected to the <br />lot to the south (Mr. Engel's property). <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />C. City Events Task Force, Additional Appointments, Accepting Resignation <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski was recommending that the Mayor appoint and seek <br />Councilmember ratification of two additional members to the City Events Task Force: <br /> <br />. Mr. Tom Ostby, 3517 Siems Court <br />. Ms. Loann Crepeau, 3517 Siems Court <br /> <br />The Council may also wish to acknowledge the resignation of Tom Goserud from the Task <br />Force, due to prior commitments. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski stated that she had no additional information regarding the Task <br />Force appointments. She indicated that she anticipated a number people joining and resigning <br />from the Task Force. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski moved and Councilmember Larson seconded a <br />motion to ratify the appointments of the two new members to the City Events <br />Task Force. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATOR COMMENTS <br /> <br />A. Pay Equity Report <br /> <br />Mr. Lynch stated that the Pay Equity Report was mandated by the State of Minnesota. Included <br />in the agenda packet were the Pay Equity Implementation Report, Compliance Report, Predicted <br />Pay Report and a graph demonstrating the predicted pay comparison between male and female <br />jobs for the City of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />Mr. Lynch advised that staff recommends the City Council receive the Pay Equity <br />Implementation Report, Compliance Report, Predicted Pay Report, and Predicted Pay Graph, and <br />reiterate their position to be in compliance with the Pay Equity Act for the State of Minnesota. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Lynch stated that this information was submitted to the Minnesota Department of Employee <br />Relations by the deadline of January 31, 2000.
