Those to be invited will
include Congressman Vento, Senator Grams, Army representatives, former Mayors and
Councilmembers. The Council will make a decision on the groundbreaking date at the March
13, 2000, Council meeting.

Mayor Probst stated he is pleased with the letter regarding staff assistance on the watermain
break. He asked Mr. Lynch to send his compliments to Dwayne Stafford and his staff.

Mayor Probst noted the upcoming consideration by the Plarming Commission on Planning Case
#00-14 involving a front yard variance which staff recommends for approval. He noted that this
variance, if approved, would put the deck very close to the front yard right -of-way. Mayor
Probst stated he is not sure why that is the requested location but the Lake Joharma Boulevard
right-of-way may be an issue in the future if it needs to be rebuilt so he wants to be sure that
issue is addressed at the Planning Commission meeting.

Mayor Probst advised that he will be vacationing the week of March 20, 2000, and not be in
attendance at the worksession.
