When the lights are dimmed <br />for the ceremony, the stars will shine and create a truly awe inspiring <br />event. <br /> <br />How can I donate my time or resources? <br /> <br />There are numerous ways that you and your friends and family can <br />become involved: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. Volunteer to be the chair, vice-chair, secretary, or one of the <br />subcommittee chairs for the opportunities listed below <br />. Put together a team with friends and family <br />. Businesses can participate by putting together a company team, <br />donating food, prizes, entertainment, or time to help with the event. <br />. Get two or three of your friends together to co-chair a committee! <br />Make it fun and share the responsibilities. <br /> <br />VOLUNTEER NEEDS FOR RELAY FOR LIFE <br /> <br />Co- Chair <br />. Works with the American Cancer Society Event Coordinator <br />. Oversees the subcommittee chairs <br />. Schedules and runs the Relay meetings <br /> <br />Vice-Chair <br />. Chair committee meetings in the chair's absence <br />. Fulfill any duties assigned by the chair <br />. Prepare to serve as chair of next year's Relay for Life <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Secretary <br />. Take minutes of each major committee meeting, noting decisions <br />made and tasks assigned.
