<br />" <br /> <br />:\ <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />tit <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />September 29, 2000 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Joe Lynch, City Administrator <br /> <br />Dwayne Stafford, Public Works Director),5 . <br /> <br />2000/2001 Street Improvement Project <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Back!!round <br />The Arden Hills City Council ordered a Revised Feasibility Report in the matter of the <br />2000/2001 Street Improvement Project, at its September 11, 2000, City Council meeting. <br />Attached is Resolution #00-35, receiving the report and stating that a public hearing will be held <br />for the 2000/2001 Street Improvement Project on November 13, 2000. <br /> <br />Costs <br />The estimated costs for all ofthe proposed improvements are summarized in the revised <br />feasibility report and will be approximately $2,200,000. Final costs will be determined based <br />upon the scope of work and alternates that are selected by the Council, following input from the <br />public at the public hearing. <br /> <br />Fundin!! <br />Funding for the proposed street improvement project would come from State Aid, Rice Creek <br />Watershed District, Surface Water Management, General Fund Assessments, Sanitary Sewer <br />Utility Fund, Watermain Utility Fund, and the City's 409 Fund (Non-Assessable Street <br />Improvement Fund). <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends that the City Council consider the following actions: <br /> <br />1. Adopt Res. #00-35 entitled, "Resolution Receiving a Revised Feasibility Report <br />in the Matter of the 2000/2001 Street Improvement Project;" and <br /> <br />2. Authorize staff to hold a Public Hearing on the proposed improvement in <br />conjunction with the November 13, 2000, City Council Meeting <br />
