Final PUD/Site Plan Approval <br />Beacon Construction (Arden South Apartments) <br />Property Located at County Road E2 and Cleveland <br /> <br />Request <br /> <br />The applicant is requesting the following: <br /> <br />1. Rezoning and Comprehensive Plan Amendment <br />2. Master Plan PUD Approval <br />3. Final Plan PUD/Site Plan Approval <br /> <br />Overview <br /> <br />The applicant is requesting the actions referenced above to facilitate the construction of a <br />30 unit apartment building. This item was considered at the October 29, 2001 meeting of <br />the City Council. At that meeting, it was determined that the Council needed additional <br />information to make an informed decision. In particular, the Council asked for <br />information specific to the traffic impacts of the proposed development. There was also <br />concern regarding the impact to the site's natural features. Issues surrounding the <br />rezoning and comprehensive plan amendment were discussed. <br /> <br />To address the aforementioned issues, the applicant facilitated a site visit to highlight the <br />proposed development by staking out the building.
